New Day Festival
Tony Vega, who experienced success as a salsa singer in the Latin music world, will start off the festivities with a concert at 7. p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3. Vega will share about his life and career and perform some of his latest songs. The concert is free to the public. A food sale will follow the performance.
The festival will continue on Saturday, Aug. 4 at the recreation center at 700 North St. Between noon and 6 p.m. join us for great music, activities for kids and free hot dogs. Hispanic food will also be on sale that day. Singers Gerson Kelly and Angel David are scheduled to preform as well as New Day Worship Band. This event is also free.
New Day Festival is a recreational event held annually in the city of Rochester, New York. The festival began in 2002 and has been a great success every year. Taking place in the summer, this event brings together different members of our community. New Day Festival consists of a variety of performances by local and national bands, games for children and adults, contests, prizes, and gifts. An effort is made every year to offer this event at no cost to all who attend.
